Vaccinations – Really Good Reasons To Get Them

9. Vaccinations boosts your immunity

A child  vaccinated against a disease, can fight it off better. However, a non-vaccinated child,  remains at higher risk of catching and becoming very ill from the illness.

10. For the good of the community

The more parents vaccinate their children, the more protection there is against an illness, such as a measles outbreak. This provides ‘herd immunity’. There will always be some children who are unprotected because for medical reasons, vaccination is not suitable. It may also be because they’re too young to be vaccinated, or in some rare cases, because the vaccine does not work.
