5. Milk Pedha:

You Will Need:

200 grams of condensed milk
½ tablespoon of ghee
¾ cup of milk powder
A pinch of nutmeg powder
A pinch of saffron
3-4 green cardamoms, crushed
How To:

In a microwave safe bowl, mix condensed milk, milk powder, and ghee. Microwave on high for one minute.
Add crushed cinnamon, saffron, nutmeg powder and microwave for another two minutes or until the mixture thickens.
Now apply some ghee on your palm and shape the dough into small balls. Flatten slightly and refrigerate.

6. Kaju Katli:

You Will Need:

½ cup of sugar or as required
1 cup of cashews
1 tablespoon of ghee
5 tablespoons of water
8-9 strands of saffron
How To:

Grind the cashew in a coffee grinder until it acquires a powdery texture.
Meanwhile, grease a tray and keep it aside.
In a thick bottomed pan, heat sugar and water. When the sugar dissolves, add cashew powder and keep stirring continuously.
Cook the cashew mixture for 10 minutes or until the mixture thickens. Now add saffron and ghee to the cashew mixture.
When the mixture is not enough to handle, knead the cashew mixture. Flatten the dough and place on the greased tray.
When the mixture cools down, cut into diamond shapes and refrigerate for 4 hours before serving.
