 5. Simple Cheesy Sandwich
When your child is not happy with too many ingredients in his sandwich filling, you can try this one. It has lots of cheese and some greens.
You will need:

8 slices of bread
1 head broccoli, separated into florets
1 cup cheddar cheese, grated or thinly sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt to taste
Softened, unsalted butter
¼ teaspoon crushed black pepper
How to:

Preheat the oven to 400ºF.
In an oven sheet, add olive oil, salt and pepper, and the broccoli florets. Bake them for around ten minutes and set aside.
Heat a skillet on the stove. Apply butter to one side of a bread slice and put it in the skillet, with the buttered side down.
Spread one layer of cheese. Top it with the broccoli florets and add another layer of cheese on it.
Let the cheese melt a little, before covering it with another slice of bread.
Cook both sides of the sandwich for five minutes each, until the cheese melts enough to hold the slices together.
Cut the sandwich in half and serve with ketchup.

6. Apple, Cheese And Ham Sandwich
This sandwich has the goodness of fruit, dairy, and meat. Try this one if your kids like the apple flavor.
You will need:

8 slices of multi-grain bread
1 cup cheddar cheese
8 slices ham
1 large apple, thinly grated
4 tablespoons light mayonnaise
2 tablespoons mustard
2 tablespoons honey
How to:

Mix mayonnaise, honey, and mustard in a bowl. Spread it on four slices of bread.
Add a layer of cheese on each and top it with a two slices of ham and cored apple.
Cover them with the remaining slices and cut the sandwiches in half.
Garnish with any leftover pieces of apple and serve.
