5. Split Pea Soup:
You Will Need:
Green peas
Vegetable broth
Water
Chopped potatoes
Celery
Onion
Garlic
Sage
Thyme
Dry mustard
Cumin
Bay leaves
Salt and black pepper – optional
How To Make:
Add all the ingredients in a soup pot.
Let it cook for about four hours on medium heat.
6. Tomato Barley And Vegetable Soup:
You Will Need:
Olive oil
Chopped celery
Carrots
Onions
Garlic
Tomatoes
Spinach
Vegetable broth
Barley
Salt and pepper – optional
How To Make:
Heat the oil in a pan and sauté the onions and garlic.
Add the celery and carrots and stir until tender.
Add tomatoes, vegetable broth, seasoning and barley and stir. Let it all boil.
Cover with a lid and cook on medium heat for another 30 minutes.
Add the spinach and seasoning and cook for ten minutes.
