3. Banana Bread
Banana bread is easy to make and one of the best ways to get the goodness of banana to your kid.
You will need:
2 cups flour
2 ½ cups mashed ripe bananas
¾ cups brown sugar
2 eggs
½ cup butter
1 teaspoon baking soda
¼ tsp salt
How to make:
Preheat the oven to 350oF.
In a bowl, mix flour, baking powder, and salt. In another bowl, combine the butter and brown sugar.
Stir in the mashed bananas, and eggs into the sugar cream. Mix them properly.
Stir in the banana mix into the flour and beat it into a smooth batter.
Grease a 9×5 inch baking pan and pour this mixture into it.
Bake for 60 minutes. Test it with a toothpick before you take it out of the oven.
Let the bread cool before slicing it.
Serve warm.
4. Mini Meatballs
Meatballs are packed with proteins, but not all kids may like them. Here is a recipe for child-sized mini meatballs that taste and look yummy too. You can also hide veggies like carrots, broccoli, and cauliflower in these delicacies.
You will need:
2 pounds ground beef
8 oz. ground pork
2 cups breadcrumbs
1 medium onion
2 eggs
1 cup milk
2 minced garlic cloves
½ cup finely chopped parsley leaves
Salt and pepper to taste
How to make:
In a large bowl, add the meats, milk, breadcrumbs, chopped parsley, beaten eggs, minced onion, salt, and pepper. Mix all the ingredients properly, and refrigerate for 30 minutes.
Preheat the oven to 350oF.
Roll the cold meatball mix into small balls, the size that kids can eat.
Brush a baking pan with cooking spray and line the meatballs in it.
Bake for 25-30 minutes.
Stick toothpicks in them and serve them with spaghetti or just with a dip!
